About Us

Smeoo opened in December, 2009 and is entirely run by the guys from tranceliquido and grupoprobeta.com. We decided to start this project because we want people to have fun, laugh, get good stuff, art, or just objects that somewhere, maybe in a remote place someone may find a use for it.

We’re not that different than you, really. We love art, design and having stuff that make our life easier. As media artist, bloggers and designers, we appreciate high-quality, innovative artworks that are as beautiful as meaningful. And we see no reason these passions can’t be combined.

Frustrated by our own shopping experiences, we set out to create a site that would inspire fellow art lovers to celebrate their relationships with their cultural values. Where they could find artworks and other stuff that fit not just their lifestyle, but their sense of style as well … savvy, modern, sophisticated. A place where they would feel at ease, and enjoy the kind of exceptional service they’d expect from a neighborhood gallery.

Just as importantly, we wanted to find a way to support the many deserving artists that make a difference in the arts community. When we put our dreams together, we came up with Smeoo, a site that offers exceptional artworks.

All of the art you see on the site were made by us or by friends of ours. We're always on the lookout for new art pieces, so get ahold of us if you want to be part of the family!

We do our best to keep prices reasonable while still making high-quality pieces.
